Area Refrigeration & Display Ltd

The client: A Sussex-based refrigeration company, referred to LMS Computer Services by a previous client.

The brief: The urgent provision of wide-scale IT support. Computers were being run without backup, a centralised file-sharing system, or anti-virus protection. The network was out of date and impacting office productivity, including the operation of the company’s Sage accounting software.

The service: LMS Computer Services installed a brand new network, using Cat6 cabling, which provided a tenfold increase in network speed (10mbps to 1000mbps). New business-grade networking equipment was also supplied and installed, including a new modem/router and switch. Anti-virus protection was installed on all the computers as part of the comprehensive overhaul, which also included RAM upgrades. Productivity increased dramatically.
